Luvemal's Kijo at Sumosan
Sept 1998 ~ May 2008
|
Kijo was chosen as a mate for our male Sampson and flown in from Northern Alberta. She was a fiesty little redhead with tonnes of attitude and a love for the show ring. We had many great moments as she strutted her stuff in front of the Judges and eventually attained her status as a champion.
Kijo gave birth to 4 pups in her first litter and 2 pups in her second. We tried to be very conscious about assessing the pups for type and standard so we discontinued the Sampson/Kijo line.
Kijo had other plans though. She turned down all other potential suitors and we felt her loyalty to Sampson warranted retiring the two together. We kept one son (Tuffy) and decided to step away from breeding.
Kijo gave us many wonderful moments and treasured memories. She is deeply missed but I know her and Tuffy are having a great time together. |

Sumosan's Little Tuff Gui
Feb 28, 2000 ~ Apr 28, 2008
|
Also known as MR Tuff Guy when he strutted his stuff and thought he was 10x his diminuitive size of 6 lbs.
When he showed his sweeter, loving side which was more often than not, he was our little Tuffy. Personality plus, Tuffy loved to play hide & seek or recline on the back of the couch and drape himself over my shoulder.
Tuffy was our little test pilot for many of the cookies we created. Everything had to be "Tuffy Approved".

Walker
Fr ?? ~ 2007
|
Walker was a "lost cause" I found languishing at LAPS. He had been running loose with another dog before being caught by LAPS. He was never claimed and I dare say he was never loved or treated as a pet before coming to live with me as a foster dog.
We spent a lot of time together before he was deemed ready for a permanent home. Unfortunately, he was allowed off leash too soon and ran off. The end result was that he ran into the path of a car and was killed.
I have many wonderful memories of Walker and will always consider him one of my own. |
